The deficit in the state's payments was 40.9 billion kronor in June. It was slightly more than the National Debt Office's forecast for the month, which was 39.8 billion in deficit.

Payments to authorities, including the Legal, Financial and Administrative Services Agency, were higher than expected. This was offset by the fact that tax revenues were approximately 3 billion higher than forecast, according to the National Debt Office.

Interest payments on the national debt of 4.6 billion kronor were in line with the forecast. The national debt amounted to 1,058 billion kronor at the end of the month.
