Unemployment remains in July at 8.7 percent of the workforce compared to the previous months, according to the SCB's seasonally adjusted and smoothed data.
The number of employed as a proportion of the population has risen slightly in recent months.
"We see a subdued labor market in July with a continued higher level of unemployment", says Stefan Andersson, statistician at Labor Force Surveys at SCB, in a press release.
