A boy in his late teens has been taken to hospital by ambulance helicopter after a near-drowning incident at a swimming pool in Alingsås.
According to Alingsås tidning, it concerns a player from a foreign team in the football tournament Gothia Cup. His condition is serious, the newspaper writes.
The alarm came in to us at 17.21 via SOS as cardiac arrest, says Fredrik Svedemyr, press spokesperson for the police, to TT.
The police have filed a report on causing bodily harm.
