A teenager has been taken to hospital after being chased and assaulted by a larger gang in central Gothenburg, according to the police.
There are initial reports that around 20 people were chasing after the boy, says Fredrik Svedemyr, police press spokesperson.
The boy is said to have run and eventually fallen, and was then assaulted.
He received kicks, among other things. The perpetrators then left the scene, says Svedemyr.
The extent of the boy's injuries is unclear.
At present, no one has been arrested or suspected in the case. However, a report of aggravated assault has been filed.
