A new proposal for an agreement that involves releasing hostages from the terrorist-listed Hamas in Gaza, offering Hamas top leaders safe passage out of the strip, and ceasing hostilities has been presented by an Israeli hostage negotiator, reports the Israeli public service company Kan.
The proposal has "been presented to the Americans, who are expected to forward it to unspecified Arab officials", according to The Times of Israel.
The proposed agreement also involves releasing Palestinian prisoners from Israeli prisons, demilitarizing the Gaza Strip, and installing a new government, report the Israeli media.
