The match between Canada and Sweden in the World Championship in curling in South Korea became a real nail-biter. The Swedish ladies started steadily but Canada pulled away and in the seventh round Sweden was behind 3–8. But Anna Hasselborg's team came back and before the final round, it was only one point apart with the score 8–7 in favor of Canada.
Sweden, who started, unfortunately did not manage to steal a point and Canada took the match with 9–7.
Later on Sunday, however, Sweden bounced back. It was a 7–5 win against Denmark and the blue-yellow team has started the World Championship with three wins and one loss. On Monday, Sweden will face the USA.
