He has appeared on "Allsång på Skansen", played at Cirkus in Stockholm and sung for Crown Princess Victoria on her birthday. Now, 16-year-old Oscar Stembridge is participating in the international talent hunt "America's got talent".
The Swedish artist has, despite his young years, accomplished more than most.
Stembridge has been singing and playing live since he was six years old. His first instrument was the piano, followed by acoustic guitar, bass and drums. When he started posting covers of well-known songs, bands like Queen, Aerosmith and Guns N'Roses shared his posts.
Oscar Stembridge has since released a debut EP, won the award for newcomer of the year at the Denniz Pop Awards and played the lead role in the SVT series "Kär".
He is the second Swede to compete in "America's got talent" – the first was Chris Kläfford in 2019. Oscar Stembridge's audition will be broadcast on American TV on 2 July, where he will perform his self-written song "What if".
