A man in his 30s is suspected of having raped a girl in her early teens at a swimming center in Boden.
The rape occurred on Sunday. The girl and the man were strangers to each other.
This incident occurred in the middle of the day in the adventure section of the pool, says prosecutor Rickard Finnberg to Norrländska Socialdemokraten.
On Wednesday, the man was arrested on probable cause suspected of rape of a child.
