Sundling easily made it to the quarterfinals, with the fastest time.
The Swedish women have so far dominated in sprint in the World Cup. Johanna Hagström won in Ruka and Sundling followed up by convincingly taking home the competition in Lillehammer.
The plan was for Hagström to have competed in Davos, but she withdrew this morning due to a cold.
In the final round, Sundling will be joined by Emma Ribom. Ingrid Hallquist and Ebba Stenman ended up on the wrong side of the top 30.
Sweden has six spots in the sprint, but only started with four skiers. Johanna Hagström woke up with a cold, and previously, Linn Svahn and Maja Dahlqvist were missing.
Edvin Anger qualified for the final round in the men's sprint with the third-best time. Marcus Grate and Emil Danielsson are also advancing. Truls Gisselman, Olof Jonsson, and Johan Häggström are eliminated.
