In February, the unemployment rate was 9.0 percent, compared to 8.9 in January and 8.8 percent in December, according to seasonally adjusted and trend-adjusted values from SCB.
The proportion of employed people in the population remains unchanged, at 68.7 percent.
"It is a continued subdued situation on the labor market in February, we see, among other things, that unemployment is increasing. We also see that temporary employees are decreasing, seasonally adjusted and smoothed, while permanent employees are increasing", says Louise Stener, statistician at the Labor Force Surveys at SCB, in a press release.
