Among today's company news, it was noted that steel manufacturer SSAB has announced a new CEO for the company. The stock rose 1.6 percent.
Pharmaceutical company Bioarctic released quarterly figures during the morning and the stock surged 8.5 percent. At the same time, a bid from Danish AP Møller on automotive supplier Concentric caused the Concentric stock to rise almost 60 percent to the bid level.
The leading European stock exchanges rose in line with the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
