Sarah Sjöström took a not-so-surprising victory in the Sette Colli tournament in Rome. The 30-year-old won the 50m butterfly on a fine time of 24.73.

Behind her, Sjöström had Japanese Rikako Ikee on a time of 25.63 and Italian Viola Scotto di Carlo with a time of 25.89.

Louise Hansson came fourth and Michelle Coleman fifth on times of 26.10 and 26.20 respectively.

Hansson also competed in the 50m backstroke, and then came third on a time of 28.05.

All three Swedish women will compete in the Olympics in Paris, which starts on 26 July.
