Dutch handball continues to bet on Swedish. Henrik Signell replaces Per Johansson as national team captain for the women's national team, writes Aftonbladet.
This feels very good. It's a national team and a country that is heavily investing in sports and handball. The Netherlands has many skilled individuals who are playing in good clubs, says Signell to the newspaper.
The 48-year-old Signell was national team captain for Sweden in 2016-2020 and comes most recently from the same job in South Korea.
Previously, Staffan Olsson was national team captain for the Netherlands men's handball team.
