Shots were fired at a house in the Kungsängen area, in the southern parts of central Uppsala, during the night leading up to Tuesday, reports P4 Uppland.
The police were alerted to bangs in the area just before midnight and found bullet holes in a door.
No one is believed to have been injured, but the police have launched an investigation into attempted murder.
