We have taken care of all the cases we had during the evening, says Stockholm police's press spokesperson Mats Eriksson on Thursday morning.
The two cases that occurred in Farsta are connected, he says.
The police have arrested one or more persons connected to the two shootings in Farsta, which took place with a 15-minute interval. Mats Eriksson does not want to disclose how many people are involved.
The police have also arrested one or more persons for the shooting at an apartment in Brandbergen.
Car chase in Stockholm
A few hours before midnight, the police chased a car in Stockholm but had to abort after assessing that it risked becoming dangerous for third parties.
We have since found the vehicle damaged in a crash, but no people in connection with the vehicle, says Daniel Wikdahl, press spokesperson for the Stockholm police.
According to information received by Aftonbladet, the chase involved several suspected shooters from the shootings in Farsta, who fled towards the city center in a car.
The police do not want to confirm on Thursday morning whether the car chase is connected to the evening's shootings.
— I cannot confirm it, but there is much that suggests they are also connected, says Mats Eriksson.
No one found injured
The two shootings in Farsta, one against people where the alarm came at 21.46 and one against a building where the police were alerted at around 22, occurred shortly after an alarm about shots fired at a door in Brandbergen, in Haninge south of Stockholm.
We have established that shots were fired at an apartment, says Daniel Wikdahl, press spokesperson for the police, and adds that the apartment was not empty.
The events in Brandbergen and in Farsta, where people were shot at, are being investigated as murder or attempted murder.
No one has been found injured in the events.
