Taiwanese TSMC, one of the largest producers in the semiconductor industry, reports sales for the fourth quarter that exceed expectations.
The company, with customers such as Nvidia and Apple, increased sales by 39 percent between October and December, to 868.5 billion Taiwanese dollars.
This corresponds to around 26.3 billion dollars, and was more than the 854.7 billion in local currency that Bloomberg's analysts had counted on.
