14 school students have been taken to hospital after eating extremely strong potato chips in Japan's capital Tokyo.
More than 30 school students are said to have shared the chips during a break when several began to feel unwell and got acute pain around their mouths.
One of the students is said to have brought the chips for fun, since he had eaten them before and thought they were "extremely strong".
The chips in question are from the brand "R 18+ curry chips" and use a substantial amount of extremely hot paprika called "ghost paprika".
People with high blood pressure and weak stomachs are "absolutely forbidden" from tasting the chips, according to the company's website.
