Kim is said to have told Lavrov that the North Koreans are "ready to unconditionally support and encourage all measures taken by the Russian leadership in addressing the root cause of the Ukrainian crisis", according to the dictatorship's propaganda agency KCNA.
According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, the meeting took place in the city of Wonsan on North Korea's east coast – a place that the isolated and sanctioned country recently launched as a tourist destination.
Kim is also said to have expressed a "firm conviction that the Russian army and people" will be victorious and "achieve the sacred cause of defending the country's dignity and fundamental interests", according to KCNA.
Lavrov met earlier on Saturday with his North Korean counterpart Choe Son-Hui.
The visit is Moscow's latest move to mark the increasingly deep military and political ties with North Korea, in the shadow of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
Pyongyang has sent thousands of soldiers to the Russian region of Kursk to fight against Ukraine there. The country has also delivered weapons such as artillery grenades and rockets to the Russians.
