At least 28 Palestinians, including four children, were killed in an Israeli air strike in central Gaza late on Friday, according to sources at al-Aqsa hospital in the city of Deir al-Balah and Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis.
In Deir al-Balah, several women and children were killed and another four people were killed in attacks near a gas station.
Additionally, several people were killed in Israeli air strikes in southern Gaza.
The Israeli military has not commented on the number of civilian casualties but states in a statement that it has attacked about 250 targets in the Gaza Strip over the past 48 hours, including arms depots, rocket launch sites and tunnels.
