An additional 50 government soldiers were killed in clashes in areas near the border with Algeria.
The battles are said to have taken place on July 25-27.
Furthermore, severely injured soldiers were transported to hospitals in the city of Kidal in northern Mali.
Earlier, reports and partial confirmations from Mali's military and from the Wagner militia group have indicated significant losses for the government side.
The terrorist group JNIM, which is loosely tied to al-Qaeda, has also stated that the government side has suffered significant losses in battles in northern Mali earlier in the week.
