Russia attacked Ukraine's capital Kiev with missiles and attack drones during the night.
All projectiles were shot down by the Ukrainian defence, according to Kiev's military leadership on Telegram. No casualties have initially been reported in connection with the attack.
Both cruise missiles, ballistic missiles and attack drones were sent towards the capital in the coordinated Russian attack. Residents were urged to seek shelter and the air raid alarm lasted for nearly two hours.
"This attack showed once again that the aggressor will not give up its missile terror against Kiev", writes the head of the military administration, Serhij Popko, on Telegram.
The Ukrainian air force warned of attacks in large parts of Ukraine during the night.
