The Royal Opera in Stockholm has been evacuated after staff alerted about a room filling with smoke. The rescue service is on site and is investigating the premises.
It is unclear what is burning. From the rescue service's perspective, they are flying up with drones to try to locate the cause, says Oscar Davila, operations leader at the rescue service.
According to Jenny Mattson, press officer at the Royal Opera, there was no audience left when they had to evacuate.
This was after the evening's concert was over, so there was no audience that needed to be evacuated. There were some staff members who were still in the building when the alarm went off.
She says it's about the top floor, where they have their ballet department and costume workshop. But there is also ongoing renovation of the roof.
