Rod Stewart claims to have both his health and hair intact, but is still planning to slow down. The 79-year-old, who is currently touring Sweden, writes on Instagram that the tour "One last time" is his last major world tour.
"This is the end of large-scale world tours for me, but I have no desire to retire. I love what I do, and I do what I love", he writes, stating that he longs to play at smaller, intimate venues in the future.
Rod Stewart, or Sir Rod Stewart after being knighted in 2016, has had many hits on the charts over the decades. His voice, style, and songwriting span several genres within popular music, from rock to soul and R&B, including "Forever young", "Infatuation", and "Maggie May."
Earlier this year, he released "Swing fever", his 33rd album in order. On April 29, he will perform at Malmö Arena.
