The game developer Embracer is issuing a reversed profit warning for the third quarter, reports Dagens industri.
The adjusted operating result for the quarter will be 2.1 billion kronor, compared to the expected 1.7 billion, according to the news agency Bloomberg.
The profit increase is due to a stronger than expected performance for the PC/Console Games and board game sector Asmodee, which is to be spun off next week.
The net sales for the quarter are expected to be approximately 12.3 billion kronor, compared to the expected nearly 11 billion kronor.
The share rose sharply on the Stockholm Stock Exchange after the announcement and closed at plus 9.8 percent.
