The death toll from the flooding in southern Germany has risen to five, but the rescue service was able to rescue a feared missing woman from a tree on Tuesday, reports the media company SWR.
A 32-year-old woman from Neu-Ulm in western Bavaria had not been seen since Sunday when a police drone found her in a tree in a forest.
She had taken refuge there when she was caught off guard by the water masses, and remained there for 52 hours.
