A man in his 50s was found shot during the night leading up to Thursday in Laholm.
We received an alarm at midnight that shots had been heard at a location in Laholm, and when we arrived, the man was found injured by gunfire, says Anders Wennergren, duty officer at the police.
According to SVT Halland and the Danish Ekstra Bladet, the shooting is linked to Tuesday's explosion in Copenhagen. A younger man who lives at the address where the shooting took place was arrested for the explosion on Tuesday, according to information provided to SVT.
The shot man was conscious when he was taken to the hospital. He is now being treated for serious injuries, according to Region Halland for TT.
The police have initiated a preliminary investigation into attempted murder, but have not yet made any arrests.
