Norwegian arms industry notes, just like many other actors, record figures in connection with the increasingly uneasy world situation with rearmament as a consequence.
In 2024, the export of defence materials amounted to 7.9 billion Norwegian kronor, an increase of over one billion kronor according to figures from Statistics Norway. Mainly, it is about sales to NATO countries such as the USA and Hungary. To Sweden, which is now also a NATO member, the export amounted to 347 million Norwegian kronor.
