The known rapper C Gambino has been shot dead in a parking garage in Gothenburg.

Several bullet holes were visible on Wednesday morning in the glass doors leading to one of the floors of the parking garage in Hisings Backa.

This is where the well-known artist was seriously injured late Tuesday evening. He was taken to the hospital, but his life could not be saved.

At 11 o'clock, the thick glass panel was replaced, and between the glass fragments, several deformed bullets were found. In front of the doors, some red roses were scattered.

In addition to police and journalists, some curious young people had also taken themselves to the parking garage.

The alarm about the shooting was reported at 22:30 on Tuesday evening.

A severely shot man in his mid-20s was found on the scene. The police confirm that it is about the artist C Gambino.

The anonymous Gothenburg rapper, who performed with a mask, released his debut album in 2022 and has been high on the Swedish charts. Last month, he won the prize for hip-hop of the year at the Gramis gala.

According to the police, the victim had a connection to organized crime.

Several people have been questioned, and the investigation is working to map the victim's last days of life.
