The police have identified the van and spoken to the registered owner. However, it is not the same man who was behind the wheel yesterday.

The van was sold six months ago. Since then, the registration has apparently been missed. It's not good to be listed as the owner of a car that you're not using or don't possess, says Thomas Fuxborg to the newspaper.

The police have not yet been able to identify the suspect.

It was at 11 am on Saturday that a police officer was hit, which is believed to be intentional. The police were conducting a sobriety check and the theory is that the man tried to escape. The driver also nearly hit a man and his eight-year-old daughter.

The police officer was not seriously injured in the incident.
