Several Norwegian roads have been closed due to heavy rain. According to meteorologists, up to 80 millimeters of rain have fallen in the last 24 hours, with the inland county of Innlandet, north of Oslo, being the worst affected.

For the second day in a row, the E6 in Ringebu is being closed since a 30-meter wide landslide went over the road on Tuesday morning, the police report. Kilometer-long queues have also formed on another part of the E6 since the Helltunnelen between Trondheim and Stjørdal was closed.

A county road in Trysil is also closed due to a landslide.

In the Ringsaker municipality, 17 people have been allowed to evacuate to a hotel due to the night's rain. Other residents in the area have taken refuge with family or friends, according to the municipality.

The rain is expected to cease around lunchtime.
