The education concern Academedia reports a profit before tax of 93 million kronor for the first quarter of the company's broken financial year. The profit can be compared to 77 million kronor for the same period the previous year.

The net sales increased by 12 percent to 3.8 billion kronor, up from 3.4 billion a year earlier.

The number of children and students in pre-, primary, and upper secondary school increased by 8.5 percent to 109,281 on average during the first quarter.

"AcadeMedia starts the 2024/2025 business year with a good and stable development. AcadeMedia has continued positive organic growth, despite the demographic development in Sweden", writes CEO Marcus Strömberg in a comment.
