The forest and packaging company SCA, with Europe's largest private forest holdings, reports a profit before tax of 1.5 billion kronor for the third quarter this year. This can be compared to 800 million during the corresponding quarter last year. Behind the profit increase lies "good cost control" and "high sales prices", the company writes.
Net sales increased to nearly 15.1 billion kronor compared to 13.7 billion during the same period last year.
