An employee at a preschool in Hässleholm, Skåne, is suspected of gross sexual assault against a child, reports Kristianstadsbladet.
The employee was arrested and detained on Thursday evening – reasonably suspected of a crime.
The police have not yet released any information about the suspect's age or gender. Niklas Persson, head of children's and education at Hässleholm Municipality, confirms to the newspaper that it concerns an employee in the staff group.
What we have received is that the suspicion concerns a child, whose guardian has been informed, he says.
All guardians at the preschool in question have been contacted by the children's and education administration.
