A powerful fire broke out on Monday evening in a boathouse at the residential area Finnberget in Nacka outside Stockholm.
Seven units fought throughout the evening and night to gain control over the fire and prevent it from spreading to the many boats in the harbor. There are no reports of injured people.
We received the alarm at 11 pm and when we arrived at the scene, the fire was already fully developed. We are now trying to prevent it from spreading to other boats and we are cooling them down and trying to move them, says Henrik Bewoon-Thorén, officer in charge at the rescue service.
Just after midnight, the fire was still not under control.
