Thieves struck at Systembolaget on three locations during the night against Monday.

It starts in Gnosjö in Småland, 40 minutes later they break into Tranemo and thereafter in Hylte, says Thomas Fuxborg, police press spokesperson in region Väst.

The police suspect that it is the same perpetrators behind all three break-ins. A dark Audi has been observed at all three locations.

In Hylte, the police spotted the suspected car and began to follow it. The chase ended in Hallaböke in Halland after the police car and the getaway car collided.

The control center then decided to abort the chase as they considered it too dangerous, both for the colleagues, the perpetrators, and the general public. But the police got close enough to see that there were at least two people in the car.

The police are now conducting crime scene investigations at all three locations to see if they can secure evidence that can link someone to the break-ins.

It is unclear whether the thieves got away with anything, as the store staff are not allowed to enter and inventory until the police investigations are complete.
