Photografiska continues to branch out internationally. The next city on the list is Oslo, where the photo institution will open a branch in 2027.
So far, Photografiska, apart from in Stockholm, is also located in Berlin, New York, Tallinn, and Shanghai.
In Oslo, the business will be housed in the Deichmanske building, where the country's first public library was located from 1795 to 2020.
"We understand that there are high expectations about moving in here and we naturally want to live up to them", says Yoram Roth, Photografiska's global chairman in a press release.
