Over 70 fatalities were claimed in Tuesday's attack on a military airbase and a training area for Mali's armed forces in the capital Bamako.
At least 250 were injured, according to information from security sources.
A terrorist group with ties to al-Qaida has taken responsibility for the attacks, which occurred at dawn. Several hours later, Mali's military announced that they had regained control of Bamako.
