The French director Jacques Audiard's "Emilia Perez" receives the audience award at the Stockholm Film Festival, which ended over the weekend.
Zoe Saldana and Selena Gomez have the leading roles in the film, which is a thriller musical about a Mexican drug cartel boss whose dream is to come out as a woman.
"Emilia Perez" has emerged as a strong favourite for the prize for best international film at the Oscars in March. The film will have its Swedish cinema premiere on January 10.
