One person died and eight were injured when a roof on a newly built domestic terminal at Delhi's major airport Indira Gandhi collapsed.
Heavy monsoon rain has been ongoing for several days and led to the collapse early on Friday morning. The collapse has crushed cars outside the airport and all flights from the terminal have been cancelled until the afternoon.
"Rescue personnel are working to provide all necessary help and medical assistance to those affected", the airport staff writes in a statement.
