The police are investigating a suspected murder in Vännäs in Västerbotten. One person has been detained, reasonably suspected of murder, confirms Andreas Enbuske, press secretary at the Prosecution Authority.
The police received an alarm about an injured person on Tuesday morning. According to the initial information, the injured man was awake and able to speak when he was taken to the hospital, but later it was announced that he had died.
There are circumstances that lead the police to suspect a crime and a preliminary investigation into murder has been initiated.
