Norwegian authorities have helped to evacuate more than 1,800 Ukrainian patients to Norway and other European countries where they will receive care.
Medical evacuation is important to relieve the country's healthcare. The Norwegian effort helps to save lives and provide necessary healthcare to Ukrainian patients, says Health Minister Jan Christian Vestre (Ap) on Thursday.
452 patients and 257 relatives have come to Norway since Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine three years ago.
