North Korea has released images of leader Kim Jong-Un, allegedly showing him visiting a facility that enriches uranium for nuclear weapons.
The location of Kim's visit was not disclosed. However, this is the first time the closed dictatorship has announced a facility of this kind since 2010, when it showcased the Yongbyon atomic facility during a visit by American researchers.
According to the state-controlled news agency KCNA, Kim expressed "great satisfaction regarding the fantastic technical capabilities" at the facility. He called for an intense effort to "exponentially" increase the number of nuclear weapons.
North Korea resumed its robot tests a few days ago, after Kim recently declared that the country is building up its capability to strike enemies with nuclear weapons.
