No Swedish dressage medal in Versailles

Dressage rider Renée Claesson-Ribring on the horse Zapp VS took no medal in the individual program at the Paralympic Games. With 67,500 percent and an eighth place, the Swede is however clear for Saturday's kür, the free program, in the Versailles palace park just outside Paris.

Rebecca Hart, USA, won the gold in grade III with 77,900 percent. Rixt van der Horst, the Netherlands, took the silver with 76,433 and British Natasha Baker became the bronze medalist with 73,167.

For Anita Johnsson and the horse Currant LA, it was 67,792 percent in grade I and 13th place.

Rihards Snikus, Latvia, won the gold on the horse King of Dance with 79,167 percent.

The top eight advance to the kür in their respective classes.
