The Paralympics in Paris seem to be a public success. The organizer announced on Tuesday that over 2 million tickets have been sold.
We have already sold more than 2 million tickets, that's good. It will be packed arenas, says Olympic Games chief Tony Estanguet at a press conference.
The most popular events are blind football, taekwondo, track cycling, shooting, triathlon, and equestrian sports.
There are 500,000 unsold tickets left for the Paralympics, which will be inaugurated on Wednesday evening.
I'm sure we'll continue to sell tickets during the Paralympics and until the end, just like during the Olympic Games, says Estanguet.
