The author Suzanne Collins' publishing company announced on Thursday that a fifth book is to be released in the dystopian and bestselling "Hunger Games" series. The book, titled "Sunrise on the Reaping", will be released on March 18 next year.
The book takes place during the 45th edition of "The Hunger Games", 24 years before the first novel in the series – and 40 years after the latest book "Ballad of Birds and Snakes".
Collins is said to have drawn inspiration from the Scottish enlightenment philosopher David Hume.
"I was inspired by David Hume's idea of implicit submission and, as he put it, 'the ease with which the many are governed by the few'", says the author in a statement.
