The music teacher and singer Bengt Pegefelt, who wrote the hit ”Köppäbävisan”, is dead. This is confirmed by his relatives to P4 Dalarna.
In 1981, ”Köppäbävisan” topped the Swedish singles chart. The song – with the well-known lyrics ”Få'nt' ja' en körv så huppä' ja' i älva'” – was also on Svensktoppen for ten weeks.
Borlänge resident Pegefelt died after a period of illness and became 70 years old.
