The artist Lil Nas X denies the crimes he is accused of after having attacked a police officer in Los Angeles. According to BBC, he denies both having injured police officers and having refused to let himself be arrested during his naked walk in the city.

Three charges concern assault on a police officer and one concerns violent resistance. The crimes are considered serious and can result in prison sentences.

Montero Hill, which is his real name, was first taken to hospital after the events because the police suspected that he had taken an overdose.

The site TMZ has published unverified video clips of Lil Nas X where he walks on the street and sings, wearing only underpants and cowboy boots. Later he was completely naked and his white boots seem to have been taken care of by someone who put them up for sale on Ebay.

Lil Nas X broke through in 2018 with the song "Old town road".
