Saarbrücken won the final over Borussia Düsseldorf with 3–1 in matches and took their third consecutive title.
Both Swedes won their matches. Källberg a five-setter over Patrick Franziska and Möregårdh went clean against Dang Qui (11–7, 11–4, 11–7).
"Against Qui, it's important to be as aggressive as possible. You can't afford mistakes, you have to do everything right. It felt good and I played well. And the serve worked well too", says the Olympic Games two-time winner in a press release.
For the next Bundesliga season, the Swede will be joined in the club by Fan Zhendong – who beat Möregårdh in the Olympic Games final in Paris.
Fan has hardly played anything since the gold medal but contacted Saarbrücken in May and asked if he could play with them:
"It's you or no one", said Fan according to South China Morning Post.
