Martina Montelius is performing a theater performance about the popular country and dance band singer Kikki Danielsson, at Teater Brunnsgatan Fyra. She has long had the idea and when she finally dared to ask the artist, she said yes.
"Getting pages from diaries staged and woven together on stage into living memories is a therapy that everyone should experience", says Kikki Danielsson.
Montelius has dramatized the book "You know nothing about me", which Danielsson wrote together with Sören "Sulo" Karlsson in 2022, where she portrays how it has been to balance between successes and the abyss.
"By intertwining Kikki's story and musical heart with the small theater's embracing nature, we give you the chance to learn a few important things about Kikki Danielsson, and about life", promises the press release.
"You know nothing about Kikki Danielsson" has its premiere on January 25 next year, starring Ia Langhammer in the lead role.
