The People's House and Parks have since 1984 been awarding the Ulla Billquist scholarship to a female artist who enriches the Swedish music scene. The prize amount is 30,000 kronor. Miss Li received the award after an intense summer tour around Sweden. She feels honored to be awarded the scholarship after the singer Ulla Billquist, who is most known for her schlager song "Min soldat".
I really like Ulla Billquist's clear expression in her music and lyrics, says Miss Li.
After an intense summer tour, Miss Li is now awaiting further tour dates. But she is also fully occupied with working on new music, which will be released in the fall.
